My thirteen month old climbed out of her crib so we immediately went to a toddler bed. Before these sheets arrived, she did not stay in the bed. The first three nights in a row after these sheets arrived she slept better than she had in months and stayed in the bed all night long. The fitted "flat" sheet is a fabulous idea and helps to keep everything in place when she moves around. I think that she stays warmer and that is why she sleeps better. The only drawback, and I think it is a big one, is that these sheets are extremely rough. Everything else made for babies is so outrageously soft, I don't know why these are so stiff.
