The speaker grills can be removed and replaced with the included wood panels for a more conventional look. But that's just the beginning.
The Freetime Bed comes with two under-bed storage options. Choose the dual-function trundle to hold a mattress or provide a large storage space. For storage with style, opt for the under-bed storage unit. It features one drawer and two open compartments on the ends.
Mix and match the Freetime Collection with an array of pieces crafted to the same exacting specifications, and with the same freetime style, as the bed. Options include a nightstand with three shelves and one rolling drawer, a chest with four large drawers, and a matching mirror. Unleash your imagination to design the ultimate bedroom.

My daughter is 10, but thinks she's a teen. I've only had this item for a couple of months, but I really love it so far. It's beautiful and sturdy. My daughter particularly loves the iPod speakers & cradle. I was impressed that it came with everything you need to set the electronics up EASILY!
