The Valentina's three drawers feature an innovative drawer-slide mechanism guaranteed for life by the Smart Glide Life Warranty. Each drawer slide is made from a unique combination of polymers for exceptionally smooth sliding. Child-friendly features include soft-closing rubber mechanisms and safety catches. Completely functional for our three year old. She loves the bookcase head board and the drawers to put her dolls clothes, color books and dress up clothes in!!! Came packaged via Fedex really nice and on time as promised. All compressed wood but it's okay and the white finsh and maple laminate is very good. Easy directions but I bought two beds with the head boards and nightstand and it took all afternoon to build but no problems. The only thing I didn't like was the cardboard draw bottoms. Will probably reinforce it as soon as my kid puts her foot through it. Overall, okay for the money.

The top shelf on the headboard was brown not white to match the bed. The directions was just pictures to look at and assume you were putting it together right. Also, the drawers are hard to pull out and push in its too tight of a squeeze.there are dome good things on the bed I love that it has shelfs and that my daughter loves it.
Service and delivery comments:
I got emails with updates and the correct delivery date. I got updates when there was a new status of the delivery. It did take a little while longer than I wanted it to take for it to get delivered but it came a good distance.

This is our daughter's big girl bed. She loves it, especially the drawers underneath. The headboard is nice for her to put her dolls and books. It is sturdy, as we lay in bed with her and read books. I am happy with the bed. My husband put it together and I believe it was fairly easy. Took a few hours.

Two of the parts were severely damaged before or during shipping and we're still waiting for replacement parts to be sent. So we still have no idea how this product rates. But having to wait longer is a GREAT disappointment.

Very easy to put together and very cute for a first bed for a child. Only concern is how long the drawers will last with plastic slides!

The instructions were very easy to follow. I would recommend it as a 2-3 person job. The bed's design can change with the child. We're very satisfied!
