Comments about Ethan Twin over Full Bunk Bed:
We researched high, low and all around for a bunk bed for our boys (2 & 5). The qualifications for us were: Twin over Full, simple design, not too much going on (as the bedroom isn't huge and has semi low ceilings), attached ladder, solid wood. This bed fits all those qualifications and at the right price.
As far as assembly, my husband didn't complain which means it probably was pretty straight forward. I'd say it took about 2-3 hours.
Delivery was great, they call the day before to make sure you will be home, they won't just leave it on the doorstep.
I couldn't be happier!

Comments about Ethan Twin over Full Bunk Bed:
These were a present we purchased for my 7 yr old's birthday. I have 3 sons (9,7&2) and so was adamant that the beds be solid wood. My assumption was that solid wood meant sturdy wood. These are solid pine, well finished, smooth and the exact honey color they are pictured to be. However, they are not particularly sturdy. The upper rails "give" each morning as a stand on the lower bunk to make the upper. The end rails cannot be climbed (despite their specific similarity to a ladder). The ladder itself is somewhat more sturdy but not overly so.
As an assembled unit the stability of this bed is fine. I do not fear it tipping or moving. It is the individual slats/rails/supports that gave me cause to review my warranty.
I assembled these myself (37 yr old housewife) and found the instructions easy to follow. All drill/assembly holes matched up as they should (except the very last one which indicates my assembly error, not their manufacturing error). All screws, nuts, bolts and a wrench were included. Everything was well packaged and arrived unscathed.
FYI though, the bunk slats that support the mattresses must be attached by hand - NO DRILL! 55 screws that are too close to the side rails to allow drill access. The only area in which I needed assistance was when lifting the top bunk onto the lower.
Overall I think these are an okay product. They certainly got the shock, "wow" factor, and insane 7 year old happiness we were aiming for but . . .
These are not expensive as far as bunk beds go but they are not a good value for the money either.

Comments about Ethan Twin over Full Bunk Bed:
We got this bed for our 2 year old and 4 year old boys. They love it! They "mountain climb" up it all the time and it is very sturdy. I have been really pleased by the quality and beauty of the wood given the affordable price. Putting it together was a bit of a task, but following the directions helped.

Comments about Ethan Twin over Full Bunk Bed:
I was impressed with the speedy and efficient delivery. The bed was easy for two people to assemble (one problem: the allen wrench provided was somewhat weak, and was stripped by the time we got to the last parts of the assembly). The bed is a perfect size, looks good, and seems very solid.

Comments about Ethan Twin over Full Bunk Bed:
Product works great as a primary bed for our son but all three of our children enjoy it for "sleepovers". It did take my husband and I three hours to put it together; which we were expecting. I would recommend this set as a great product for the price.
