Purchase was damaged in shipping. I had purchased this set previouly for another grandchild and the shipping was fine. The second set was not handled with care. Suggest a new shipping company take over for Hayneedle.
The product is very well constructed and ordering was easy. The product was, however, backordered. A fact that I didn't know until two-three days after I had ordered it making me wait almost a month to get the product. Once the product was in stock, they shipped it to me and turns out, they shipped me the wrong part. Then I had to wait almost a month longer after that in order to get the part without getting anything other than an admittedly genuine apology. I really liked the product and price but the shipping issues would definitely give me pause when considering whether to order from the site again.

I have the kids staying with me for the summer. I wanted to buy a new bed for them as they are getting bigger. A month before the kids arrive, I ordered a bunkbeds. They delayed the shipment because one drawer (one piece of 5) was not available. I asked if they could ship in two pieces and they refused. I asked for them to expedite and nothing. I only bought from them based on the delivery date...and I told the rep on the phone that....and he confirmed they will deliver on time. Now I am just going to have to wait....and all they said was "sorry". I am sorry I ordered thru this company!
