Locally, I was unable to find a headboard that I liked. I went to your site, and in no time i found the Newport" style headboard that goes perfectly in my 1820s house. It was delivered quickly and I was able to assemble it and attach it to the bed frame myself!

My disappointment is that I put a full mattress on this headboard and the bulky legs meant for the queen frame show a lot and I was not expecting that. Also, headboard takes up way more room on the wall than expected. Wish there was another way this could have been made to be full and queen. Actually I never saw that it was a full/queen until I re-looked at the ad.

The box arrived on time and undamaged. The lathe-carved posts are very attractive. This headboard is not as tall some others, but the lower height makes it easier to clean around the bed. The design and color fit well with the other traditional furniture I have in my bedroom. Everything considered, this headboard is well worth the money.
