We purchased the king size headboard/footboard in white for our small master bedroom. Thought the openess of the bed would not overpower the room. We had looked at some solid head/footboards in furniture stores for the same price and felt they would be 'too much' for the room. Rather disappointed with the quality of the product. The screws for the head/footboard have no coverings so the brass color of the screws shows on the posts-ruins the look of the white bed. There should have been some coverings for the screw heads. Also, the feel of the wood seems cheap.It almost feels like plastic.Not what we wanted for a master bedroom, but we're keeping it and hope to dress it up with bedding. For the price, we were disappointed. I'd recommend this for a guest room, but not a primary bedroom
