I purchased this headboard and was so excited when it arrived. I had also ordered a bedframe to use too but it wasn't wide enough. Returned the bedframe and bought one locally but when I tried to put the two together the legs on the headboard were not tall enough so that the design of the headboard showed above the boxspring and mattress like you see in the picture. I had to hire someone to add twentyfour inches to the legs so that it fit exactly below the end of the curve and he had to drill holes all the way through in order to connect. Pain in the neck but well worth the trouble. For the price I paid I don't think I should have had to add another $50 to get it to work properly.

Loved the design and ease of assembly but one has to buy your own hardware to attach this headboard to the bed frame. It shoud be included at the price charged. The pre-drilled holes for attaching the headboard to the bed frame requires one to use screws. That's not appropriate.
