The Schoolhouse Junior Loft with Slide - Pecan puts the "fun" in "functional." This piece is constructed from only the best hardwood, and in gorgeous pecan, prepare for the room to transform in its presence. This loft is unique in its design: a slide attaches to one side for easy exits and daytime fun. The ladder and slide are even interchangeable on either side of the guardrail so you can decide how this bed will best be placed in your child's room. It's all great. This loft measures 81L x 42W x 51.75H inches. The slide adds 55.5W inches.

I bought one in pecan and one in white for my boy/girl twins. They LOVE these beds. It's very easy to put together with all parts and hardware clearly marked. I would have given it a 5 but we were missing a step for the ladder. We got an extra rail bracket instead and based on the size I could see how it could get mixed up in the packaging. No big deal we called and a step is on it's way so in the meantime we are using a step stool for the bottom step.

The bed arrived quickly and packaged well in 3 heavy boxes. I recommend laying out all the pieces and then putting it together. We made a mistake and had to take the whole thing apart! FYI - the side slates have a specific side, they are not interchangeable! It took 2 of us about 2 1/2 hours to put together, with the redo. The directions to the slide were not included, but it was fairly easy to figure out. Also, the package was missing 3 screws, but I was able to find something similar, so no big deal.
My only complaint is that the staining on one small area of the guardrail is not done well, but it's on the back of the bed so I didn't send it back.
