I purchased this bed from a local retailer for [$]. Prior to assembly, I was counting the bed pieces and hardware as instructed and realized I was missing a few wood dowels and screws. Normally I would have made big deal about this but I was so excited to get my daughter's bed up, that i just went to my local hardware store and purchased the extra hardware which cost a total of $8. Assembly was fairly easy BUT the instructions just show pictures. There are no words or tips when its needed. They are needed because a lot of pieces have an almost identical piece. I thought one of the pieces were identical and put the whole bed together. I realized the mattress slats were on the wrong way by time I was installing the ladder and front rail. It was terribly frustrating to unscrew the entire bed in order to fix that. Overall, it is a beautiful big white princess bed that my daughter loves. She's only 2 so the bed is a little intimidating to her but she absolutely loves it. If I had to do it all over again I would!

I do not have what I ordered yet.It has been almost 3 weeks and I was promised the bed in 2 weeks. If it is going to be 3 weeks then you should tell that when ordering. I would make sure that the item has for sure been delivered before you send an email asking for the review of the product.

We bought this for our daughter as her first "big girl bed". She was absolutely thrilled! We have had the bed for about 1 1/2 months and she still acts as though it was the first night she had it. She sleeps much better than she ever has. The construction of the bed is excellent. The instructions were easy to follow. My husband and I had it ready for her in a few hours. The fabric, the way everything is made is top quality. We have created an excellent hide away underneath the bed as well. It is made with a gread deal of strength. We purchased the bed that was made from a light wood, and it looks just great. Durable, excellent quality. I cannot say enough good regarding this bed.

This princess bed was so much more than we had expected! The quality wad unbelieveable! My husband and I put it together for her in under 4 hours. It looked exactly as it appeared in pictures, only better. Our daughter couldn't be happier. Excellent quality. Very sturdy & well made. She loved the hide away underneath almost as much as the slide! Well worth every single penny - and priced well, too. We would buy this again.

The bed is well made and absolutely adorable. It was a little time consuming to assemble (several hours), but my 4 year old daughter loves it and I am very happy with my purchase. The customer service representatives are very friendly and helpful as well. I would purchase from hayneedle again.

Our 3 year old daughter absolutely loves her new bed.. Was not difficult to put together, took about 1hr 30mins and is very stable.. Very happy with the purchase and the value for money.
