Everything is a little better when it's free, right? The Ayres Twin Bed + Trundle – WITH FREE NIGHTSTAND AND GUARD RAILS is no exception. Crafted of durable, solid birch, this modern twin bed has clean, simple lines and is available in an assortment of finishes. The mattress supports are ventilated for foam mattresses and accept all standard twin size mattresses. No box spring is required and a center support slat system is included.
Whether you're looking to add more sleeping space or a spot to store off-season clothes, the trundle will always come in handy. Crafted of a mixture of solid birch and birch ply and finished to match the bed, the trundle rolls smoothly in and out on casters. Fill it with a standard twin mattress (no more than 7 inches thick) and there will always be room for overnight guests or use it for much-needed storage. Either way, the cut out handles will make it easy pull it out and push it back in.
A perfect complement to the twin bed, the included free nightstand is designed so that the platform of the bed and nightstand overlap, creating an integrated, seamless design between to the two. An open cubby is ideal for books or tissues while the drawer will keep other items out of sight. The nightstand is constructed of solid birch and sustainable low VOC birch ply. It comes fully assembled with easy-to-attach solid wood feet.
Finally, the removable guard rails are a great accessory if you're starting this bed off with a young child. Metal to metal connectors allow you to attach them as many times as you need to and the connection is located on the inner rail of the bed frame where it's hidden from view. Guard rails are crafted of solid birch and birch ply.

Overall we love our new bed. It is super cute for a little boys room and the design worked with the style of our house. [...] the assembly required is WAY WAY WAY to much for a bed that costs this much. Other competitors in this price range do assemble it for you upon delivery.
