When it arrives, this bed is h-e-a-v-y. Getting it up the stairs was tons of fun. But, once set up, it makes for a great bed in a small guest room. Leave it in for a twin, or pull out for a king. The mattress is pretty firm, but for once-in-a-while, it works very well!

We bought this bed for our two girls, ages 5 and 4. The drawers is what sold us as space is a need for us. The beds seem well made and were simple to put together (the hubby did it, not me...but I watched, lol, and he didnt have any problems at all). For the price of the beds, I think you get a great quality piece. The drawers are the only pieces that seem....just a bit cheaply made, with plastic side runners, which as a mother of your children, I could see someone steping into it and breaking it right away...so we are on top of our 2 yr old to make sure this does not happen. All in all, it was a very good purchase and are happy with them :)

Dilivery was prompt and both pieces comae to us in great condition. WARRNING: when we opend the boxes to start putting the beds together we noticed other pieces of wood that was NOT the color or had some scratches on them...THIS IS NOT A DEFECT...I'm assuming one way they keep cost down to the customer is that they use unperfect pieces for the inside structure of the bed (obviously not seen) so you will see pieces of different colors and with damage such as scratches but they are for the inside structure of the bed so it is no big deal. I think it's rather smart...better price for a good quality bed :)

Geat low bed for a small child drawers are a bit sticky this is either a pro or a con depending on how inquisitve your child is and what you store in there :).
