The sleigh bed hasn't had to endure too many updates over the years, and this stylish bed shows us exactly why. The body is crafted from solid hardwoods that are given a Vintage White finish that combines a tone-on-tone color scheme with a gently textured surface to create the look and feel of a classic antique. Both the curved footboard and headboard feature gently carved details and beadwork that is echoed on the thick rails tying the two together. An optional storage trundle can be added to roll beneath this bed and provide function to go with the style. The trundle features the same solid construction and painstaking finish that makes the bed so appealing, while rolling quietly out on casters to give you added storage space. This bed is available in full/double or twin sizes.

Pattern veneers, inlays, and matched veneer drawer fronts are a few characters that set these collections apart from the rest. The multi-step finishing process begins with hand-selected veneers and involves as many as seven different spray applications and as many as eight additional hand applications. Together, these layers create a high-luster finish that accentuates the wood veneers. All finishes are lead-free, child-safe, and meet US safety requirements.
Dependable Bed Construction: All Elite Collections beds feature metal connectors that prevent unintentional rail detachment and provide strength and lasting durability. Slat roll mattress support systems come standard with bunk beds, loft beds, and platform beds to provide reliable mattress support without the need for a box spring or bunkie board. Each slat fastens with a screw, which increases the structural integrity of the bed. Most twin and full size Elite Collections beds have underbed storage options, including deep drawers or dual-function trundle/storage units, that take advantage of unused space under the bed. All bunk beds and loft beds comply with all ASTM consumer safety standards. Bunk bed ladders and guardrails attach with metal screws and metal-to-metal fasteners for superior strength and security.

I ordered and paid for the sleigh bed for my neice Gracie. The first bed came three weeks late (do to the storm which was completely understandable). It was terribly damaged. Hayneedle first told me to dispose of it, then changed their minds and wanted it back. They charged me for a second bed because they wouldnt send me a replacement without charging me and poor Gracie was sleeping on the floor because we took apart her crib to make room for the new bed. Hayneedle send me shippping labels which were wrong because FEDEX doesnt take furniture. Then we waited two more weeks for the new bed. Hayneedle refused to credit me for the full amount of the old bed because i used my hayneedle points for another purchase. It took 2 supervisors to understand that i was entitled to use the hayneedle points because i repurchased the bed. Many phone calls and aggravation later Gracie finally has her bed. The only reason i even gave it two stars was because the reps were all polite,,j
