I purchased this for my 2 1/2 yr old daughter because it is real wood and not that particle board stuff that most places sell. When put together, this bed looks very nice, however within a month a couple of the slats that hold the mattress broke. My husband attempted to fix but after a few more weeks, more of the slats broke and now the drawer won't even pull out. The "side rail" is also very loose - even though it is tightened all the way. My daughter weighs less than 30 pounds. Poorly designed. I'm emailing customer service today and hope that I will hear back from them with good news. .

overall it seems like a good bed and my son likes it. we did notice a little paint scratched off but it wasn't a big enough deal to return it.
