Comments about DaVinci Elizabeth Toddler II Day Bed:
We baby sit. She loves taking naps now in her very own little bed. One item that might help someone put the bed together is.. When you install the slats into the slots. Turn the bed over on it's back. They stand in real good, then start at the end with the other sloted plank and move down the slats. They go in real easy, I helped my husband but he said I was in the way. Ha haaaa.. Enjoy seeing your child enjoy their bed.

I am not sure the correct hardware is provided. I stopped assembling this when it got frustrating. Once I go back and finnish putting it together it will be the perfect bed for the space.

Comments about DaVinci Elizabeth Toddler II Day Bed:
We love this bed. It's attractive and well made and was relatively easy to assemble (although my husband does have a degree in Ikea). It's sturdy enough to hold my weight (and I'm 7 months pregnant) as well as my toddler's when she needs some extra snuggling. The only downside was that my daughter's legs would slip out of the opening in the frame while she slept. We corrected this by using a breathable bumper pad to hold a pillow in place over the opening. All in all, this is a great toddler bed.

Comments about DaVinci Elizabeth Toddler II Day Bed:
We like this bed. It took us more than three hours to asseble it, however, once we were done, we loved it. The only problem I have with it is that it is too light, so our toddler son can easily pull/push it in the room when he's awake playing in his room. Other than that, it's a great bed. He can easily get into it or get out when he's up and comes to our bedroom to let us know he's there. You can either keep one rail to protect him from falling off the bed, or keep two rails if you want further protection, which we did--as our son moves a lot even when he's sleepling. The rails are high enough so that he wouldn't fall off the bed, but low enough so that he can get into/out of the bed himself. The best thing is that you can use it without the rails when your toddler gets to be a little older, so you can transform it into a child's bed. I am so happy to find out that I chose the right bed for my son.
