All finishes are water-based, low-VOC made by Sherwin Williams and other American manufacturers. Wood raw materials come from environmentally responsible suppliers. MDF used is manufactured by Plum Creek, and is certified green, CARB-compliant, and low-formaldehyde. All packing insulation is 100% post-consumer recycled. All shipping cartons are either 100% post-consumer recycled or are made of recycled cardboard.

My daughter loves her bed so much that she started sleeping in it right away. She has always wanted to sleep with us. Such an important breakthrough and an easy transition going from crib to toddler bed rather then jumping to the twin.
It's very low to the ground so there really is no worries of her falling out of bed and hurting herself.
it was so easy to put together! It looks great and feels sturdy!

This bed is adorable, and the quality is excellent. The assembly was a snap -- all I needed was a screwdriver and about 10 minutes. We got the painted finish, which I recommend for a smooth surface and easy cleaning. The main "con" is that the sides are not very high, so my son rolled out of it on the first night he slept in it, and hit the floor! Luckily, the floor is carpeted, so it was not too bad. But I guess it scared him enough that he was careful to not roll so far after that! He is otherwise very happy with his big-boy bed, and he sleeps great in it. A GREAT value for the money.

When you screw the screws in the paint cracks. The wood is too thin and lacks quality for the price charged

The bed was exactly what I was expecting. Arrived in perfect condition and was super easy to put together. My little one (20 mos) got right into it, bringing out her pjs and books even though it was the middle of the day and was so excited about her new bed.
