We bought this for our 22 month old. She loves it. Very pleased with how sturdy and solid it is. The bed is a little high for a kids bed but our daughter is a climber and has no problem climbing up. We had a bit of a challenge assembling but nothing too bad.

We bought this bed for our 3-year old and it looks beautiful in his room. The look and feel is sturdy and comparable to a similar yet more expensive higher end bed we bought for our daughter 3 years ago. Good directions and easy to assemble except for one point - we had trouble getting the screws into one of the sides and they stripped easily, making it almost impossible to continue. We had to use a wrench to complete. But overall well made, good looking bed.

I spotted this bed here and I was surprised at how inexpensive it was. I showed my wife and she loved it. We purchased this for my 25 month old. She loves being a "big girl" now. She sleeps great in it. I was surprised at how good the quality is (its solid wood). It was extremely easy to put together. It only took me 25 minutes. The support is very well constructed. I bought a bed for my boy 2 years ago at Ashley's furniture and paid almost twice as much and the quality doesn't even compare. The only downside to the bed is it's height. We decided to take the box spring off it until our girl is older. Now she can climb in it with no prob. In the mean time, we just store the box spring underneath. This bed is an A+ all the way.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Well built bed. Trundle mattress needs to be 6" or less. Kind of hard to find one. Even at 6" it rubbs on bed without any sheets etc. I will have to block up the bed about 1" to make it work better. Other than that my daughter loves it. [...]
