The Emma Daybed is timeless, graceful and destined to draw attention - or nappers - to any room. This daybed is crafted with a uniquely designed waterfall frame, charming curved spindles and an obliquely sloping edge, which give the Emma Daybed the same elaborate style so beloved during the Victorian era. The soft antique white frame is designed with a flat lacquer, allowing this bed to be maintenance-free and able to complement any decor. Note: Trundle and mattress are both optional and not included with the basic set. To include, select in the Value Package field.

For a great space-saving option to accommodate extra overnight guests, the Emma Daybed includes an optional pop-up trundle that allows an extra twin-size mattress to pop up next to the daybed turning this standard twin-size daybed into a king-size bed. For easy storage this trundle bed conveniently stows underneath the daybed when not in use. Please note that two twin size mattresses will need to be purchase for the Emma Daybed, one for the daybed and one for the trundle.

A trundle is an extra mattress frame stored beneath a daybed, which slides out to provide additional sleeping space when needed. Daybeds.com's optional trundle packages include a metal, pop-up trundle. They can be left in the lowered position or elevated in the pop-up position to align with the primary daybed mattress. The pop-up feature allows the daybed to transform from a twin-size daybed into a king-size bed

Creating a king-size bed out of a daybed and a pop-up trundle is easy, and with the Create-A-King mattress connector, it will be so comfortable you'll never know it comprises two twin mattresses. The Create-A-King isn't necessary for the transformation, but is an excellent way to cover the seam between the two twin mattresses.
