This trundle bed is made with sengon tekik solids and veneers and an easy to maintain finish. The vertical and horizontal lumber interlocks making this bed extra sturdy and safe. The large trundle pulls out for extra sleeping space that is great for sleepovers or overnight guests. Some assembly required.

Comments about Heartland Trundle Bed:
I received my bed in 4 boxes and couldn't believe that it was all there, but it was. Out of Taiwan, it's some kind of hard wood and very nice. Great finish, looks beautiful.
Why not five stars? A few little problems. The main bed went together fine. But the trundle was backordered shipped with the hardware and directions for a desk/hutch. I had to go buy nuts, washers, and screws to finish. The wheels on the trundle are small. If rolling across berber they would probably work fine. But I have to push and pull the trundle to get it in or out.
Also, no where does it tell you what size mattress to buy. I bought 8 inch pillow top mattress from Hayneedle and a 7 inch non pillow top for the trundle. I had to add padding to the trundle mattress which makes it very tight to slide under the upper bed.
If I had it to do again, I'd definitely order this bed. But I would order a 10 inch pillow top for the upper and a 5 or 6 inch for the trundle.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
