Classics never go out of style, and the Woodland Pecan Classic Twin Bed is no exception. This piece offers soft lines, spindles, and classic design in an appealing pecan finish. This bed is built to last from the toddler years up to the teens. Metal hardware is used to attach the side rails to bed ends, and all bed rails are made of veneered plywood, not MDF or solids, to prevent warping and splitting.

Comments about NE Kids Woodland Pecan Classic Twin Bed:
We are using the bed in a small bedroom where our grandchildren will sleep on their sleepovers. The trundle affords a second bed in a room that only is big enough for one.
The only negative is that the instructions are confusing in that information about bed sizes seem to be in the "bunk bed" section and you are left to interpret if they apply to the twin bed configuration.
After you put the bed together or send an email customer service, you find out they do!!

Comments about NE Kids Woodland Pecan Classic Twin Bed:
We purchased this trundle bed so that we had an extra bed for sleepovers for the 12 year old. Assembly took some time, but it was very easy to put together. It is very sturdy and absolutely beautiful! I am very happy with our purchase.

Comments about NE Kids Woodland Pecan Classic Twin Bed:
I give it a 4 instead of a 5 for 2 reasons:
1) it was just a little bit hard to get the bolts started through the pre-drilled holes
2) the hole caps that came with the bed (covers counter-sunk holes and couple of holes on the top of the head board) didn't fit tightly. It seemed like any moderate vibration would knock them out of the bed.

Comments about NE Kids Woodland Pecan Classic Twin Bed:
Several of the holes were drilled off-center. The instructions also had an error in the picture showing the wrong holes for inserting the pegs. Once we figured this out and also redrilled the holes, then we were able to assemble the bed. The only other problem is that the trundle mattress really should be no more than 6 inches thick. We received conflicting information on this and thus bought an 8 inch mattress thinking it would fit. We plan to raise the top bed by putting 4 blocks that are 2 inches high. This will eliminate the problem. If you have an active child, note that they CANNOT jump on the trundle bed since the panel is not heavy duty. But the top bed is very heavy duty. Overall, we love the bed. It is beautiful, sturdy and looks great.[...]
