We bought this desk for our homeschooled Kinder aged child. She loves it! We set her computer screen on the hutch and her keyboard goes right in front of her. The keyboard can be easily moved to the top of the hutch when we need more writing room, however it will not fit underneath the hutch, which would have been nice.
It's the perfect size for a 5 year old, with some growing room. We plan on buying the same desk for our 3 year old.

After getting the order placed, sent with plenty of time before Christmas, FedEx drops this box and tears, punches holes and dents the entire box. So it looks like we have to return it if its as badly damaged when we open the package on Christmas day. All the good service at Hayneedle is wasted if the shipper damages the merchandise in transit!

This is for a six year old and it could not be a better fit. Excellent quality and easy to assemble.

Bought this for my 5-yo daughter for Christmas. Her request from Santa was "an office" so added a toy phone and computer, etc. This is very well made. Solid wood, not cheap-y plywood. My husband was able to put it together without any troubles. Took about 30-45 minutes. Nice-looking. Wide enough that we can put a little chair next to it for her friend when she comes to visit.

Very nice quality and easy to assemble. Our daughter has short legs so this was a perfect desk for her. For the price it is great value. I did not give it a 5 star because the pull out drawer was not on a glider making it a little difficult to pull in and out.
