The Sunday Funnies Desk includes a bombe-shaped desk, an optional hutch, and an optional chair. The desk features two pencil drawers and one large cabinet for storage. Continuing the bombe design, the concave-shaped hutch features two doors with generous storage behind, tack boards on the side panels, and two convenient hanging rods. The uniquely crafted and finished student desk chair features a woven webbed seat, turned legs, shaped posts, and a compound curved ladder back. The padded seat fabric is 50 percent cotton and 50 percent polyester.

Large-scale knobs add a playful touch to the desk and hutch. The chair and removable turned bun feet are made of rubberwood - a wood of exceptional, long-lasting quality. The desk and optional hutch are crafted from strong and durable wood composite. All coordinating pieces are finished in four wonderful colors under a clear protective top coat of lacquer. The honeysuckle green, bluebell, tulip pink, and dandelion yellow colors are the crowning trademark of Powell's Sunday Funnies collection. The desk and hutch come fully assembled. The chair requires some assembly using a 10-bolt construction.
