We are so glad we got this storage unit. We have mostly cherry finished furniture, but the pecan works fine (didn't want the dark finish in the sun room). Love that it contains the kiddo toys well, but doesn't take away from a more adult atmosphere. It is very solid, our 18 month old love to climb on them. He bangs them with wooden toys (until we stop him of course) and he has yet to leave any dents (unlike our coffee table). The bins did get black streaks from his shoes, but they wiped off with a damp rag. Eventually they might show some age. Also the unit smelled very strong of a chemical when we opened it, so I wiped it down with a damp rag and put the bins in the sun that seemed to get rid of it.

This is by far the best storage bench on the market today. Reasonably priced, easy to put together but best of all it looks great. I got 2 of these for our dining room, which is now a playroom, to organize my daughters toys. They look great and the storage is huge!
