Totally disappointed to see WRONG name on toy box when I unpacked the box. Was to be 1st birthday gift for my granddaughter. Customer service is reordering another one so I'll have it here before February 11th. Hopefully it will have the CORRECT name on it. I'll ship the incorrect one back as soon as I can make arrangements with FedEx. Have to take a day off work when FedEx comes to pick up incorrect one. I'm 70 years old and my kids tell me to order off the internet. I think I should have just gone to a store and bought a toy box. At least then I'd know what I'm getting.

This toy box was a gift for first time grandparents. We thought it would be a good idea so that they could keep the toys hidden when the baby wasn't around. It turned out to be very beautiful and brought tears to the new grandparents eyes!

Service and delivery comments:

My delivery came a day later than I expected, but that was due to Fed Ex and not necessarily Hayneedle. I loved the free shipping!

I have put together many desks, chests, tables,chairs, gates, etc.. but this was very easy to put together, and feeling a great quality and sturdy workmanship in the product. only took about an hour to put together, only because i was taking my time.

I bought this toy box for my granddaughters 1st birthday which is comming up in April. Having found not so good one's in stores, I turned to the internet where i found hayneedle. The toy box is made of quality construction and the name I had them put on the box is beautiful. I'm not happy with the back and bottom of the box as they are not real wood but, I love the overall construction. Oh yea, It came quickly and was pretty easy to put together. Very pleased

Q1: Does the top have a safety latch so that it will not fall down on little fingers?

A: This toy box does have a safety hinge. It is designed for kid use. When you let go of the lid it should stop, it will not fall or slam shut.
