We can't promise you this unit will handle all your storage needs throughout the childhoods of a couple kids, but it's a start. Each cubby in the bench and in the optional towers includes exposed storage. And thanks to the clever tower design, which included recessed lips on the bases, you have the option of safely stacking towers for enhanced space efficiency and function (we recommend stacking tower units no more than two high). These towers include anti-tip kits to secure to walls and connecting plates to fasten multiple units at the back.
But how do you know exactly how much stuff you're going to need to store? Well, we predict it's a lot, but if you aren't sure, just start with one set of towers or just the bench. You can always come back for another set if needed. We'll be right here when you're ready.

The product itself is GREAT! My son (who just turned 2) is a climber & typical boy cannot tip these over due to the wall mounts (which are included). They're sturdy & SUPER EASY to put together.
My only complaint was that when they were delivered they were a little bit damaged. Thankfully I had wood glue & it was only cosmetic damage & not structural.

This storage system really cleans up the toy room by replacing the open storage bins and shelves we were using. You can't beat the price for this quality hardwood storage system. You will pay 3x as much at [@] or as much for cheap laminate system at [@].

Santa and grandparents were especially good to us this Christmas, and I refused to unpack all the toys until we had a place to put them. So, we bought the storage bench and two towers to border a window in our 4 y.o. son's room. I cannot describe how nice this looks! We have folded a quilt and placed stuffed animals on top of the bench, and the tower nearest the bed holds a lamp, clock and t-ball trophy on top (out of reach of baby brother!) All toys are now easily and neatly put out of sight and organized, and we have regained a good deal of floorspace. The pecan finish perfectly matches the maple beds that belonged to my mom when she was little. I plan on using all three units until my boys are grown, and even thereafter in our guest room. Due to a mix-up, we now have extra canvas bins, but I don't think we'll be needing them for a long time because they are pretty sturdy.

I have nothing bad to say about this product! The directions for assembly were very simple and took me less than an hour to put together (bench and 2 towers). Not bad for a girl! The wood doesn't look or feel cheap. I only wish I had bought more while on sale! I'd definately recommend this product to anyone! Thank you Hayneedle, your work is appreciated.

Q1: I'm budget-conscious but want something that will last and that will stand up to my kids' active playtime. What about quality?
