A lower shelf adds stability while giving you a place to keep extra art supplies, and at the top is a simple roller that lets your child pull down fresh paper for their next masterpiece. Each side also sports a wide tray for all the chalk, markers, crayons and anything else that you'd prefer they didn't use on your walls. Includes 2 storage bins for supplies. Mine actually showed up with a few large shoe prints on the box. Yeah, not a good sign. When I opened the box I found that the top portion of the dry-erase side had a full-length of the beam. As it was a surprise gift, I had to keep it and just deal with it. The instructions also had some mistakes in them and it took a little extra time to redo some of the incorrect portions. It goes together okay, but everything didn't seem to line up perfectly. Either way, my daughter loves it and it works well. Just wish mine didn't have a big crack in it.

It took three tries to get the white board and easel without problems. The white board had three dents on the first one, and a large bubble on the send one. Then granddaughter pointed out a bubble on the chalboard also on the send one!
She now has the third one and it seems fine.
She loves it!!!!
There was no problem returning/replacing it; very speedy reply to emails about the damage.

My daughter received this product as a Christmas present. After researching many easels, this one just seemed perfect. Her grandparents were excited to give it to her from Santa and saved it till the night before to put it together. This was a mistake because there's no way that Santa can just take it back. There was so many things wrong with it. The legs are terribly uneven. We had to put 5 furniture pads down just to make it balance. The dry erase side came with 6 dents in it for uneven writing. The dry erase markers will not erase in some places on the board that are rough. The baskets that were given are so flimsy the markers fall out. The wood is scratched and dented all over. The box it came in is not damaged what so ever so clearly this is how it left the factory. Aside from looking nice from afar, this product is worthless. I am beyond disappointed and hope that no one has to go through what we went through.
