This easel is wonderful and I had shopped around a lot looking at several. The best part is that it has 2 working surfaces-- we have 2 children (4 & 2) and this eliminates fighting and arguing. They play with this for hours-- with crayons, with markers, chalk, and with paint. We have even taken it outdoors, which makes clean-up easier. It's very sturdy and has 3 heights-- our son is tall so this is very good! The only thing that would make it better is if there were some way to secure the paper roll better so that it doesn't unravel so much (we use clips at the top right now, but a little arm or something) and it would be great if there was a way to secure a second roll of paper to go out the other side. Currently, we use masking tape to tape white paper on the chalk board as well as the white board so both children can work at the same time.
It was money well spent and plan on getting a lot of use from it over the next few years.

We bought the deluxe easel for our grandson and was very happy with the results. Our grandson was so happy. For the rest of Christmas day he painted pictures. Thank you very much.

I purchased this easel and the accessory kit for my 2 granddaughters for their birthdays next month. I have not opened any of it nor will I until I give it to them, so a definitive rating must wait until then. I will tell you why I bought it: (1) the 2 sided capabilities for 2 children to use at the same time (less arguing); (2) the adjustable height capabilities. (My granddaughters are only 2 & 3y/o, but I see them being able to use this in the future as well); (3)the stability LOOKS to be satisfactory; (4) the mutiple art medium capabilities

Q1: I see this has a locking paper holder. Where is the paper held and does it drop down over the boards?
A: The paper is held in the middle of the easel in between the 2 drawing boards. The paper will feed through the back and thread through the top so that it drops down over the boards. If you look at the alternate images there is a better image of the side with paper included.
Q2: I love this easel, however i need an easel that has one side magnetic, so I can put magnetic letters and words on it. Do you have such an item?
