Overall a good buy, but some warnings

As another reviewer mentioned, the diagram is HUGE on the outside of the box. Thank goodness, my kids weren't with me when I came home to the box with the big picture on it. The other big disappointment is that the instructions are only diagrams with the only note to not tighten screws until it's fully assembled. Only you can't screw one floor completely in without blocking a screw hole for another floor. So we had to remove half the floor to attach the next floor and there is no indication of which way walls face so we are looking at the picture on the ad to decide how to install the pieces. It's Christmas Eve and we've given up on assembling it tonight. Too complicated and frustrating. I was so hoping they could come down in the morning to it set up under the tree. :(
I think my girls (7&9) will love it once it's together. It is a little less sturdy than I imagined, but I think it will work fine. The furniture is cute. We got a good price for it so it'll be worth it in the end, but wish there had been some written directions.

I love the doll house itself. Looks like the one I grew up playing with. The only thing I don't like about it is the instructions are just pictures. I like words not just pictures. It was harder to put together this way

I purchased this dollhouse for my 6 yr. olds birthday.......she loves it!! I was amazed at the quality of the furniture! Every piece is sturdy with such great detail. It's perfect for several kids to play with. I recommend this highly!

This needs to be a little sturdier to withstand children, in my opinion. The walls are so thin, that they could be snapped in half easily. Also, some of the pieces weren't cut right and had to be forced in. One piece even needed to be trimmed up to make it fit. On the flip side, one of the walls was cut too short and falls out easily. I'm a little disappointed with the overall quality of the piece. :(

I am very pleased with this dollhouse, the furniture that came with it was really nice. My husband and I were going to get something less expensive, and we looked for day's But this house is well worth the money and the time spent searching, Its very sturdy and the perfect height for my 4yr old daughter....fun to put together! One of the sides to the house came with the picture upside down but its nothing that affects the structure or the fun of the house. My daughter don't care that one of the walls is upside down.

My husband and I purchased this doll house after researching which one to would be te best fit for our family. I'm happy to say 3 months later we decided to buy this for our 5.5 year old. We ended up purchasing some 12" dolls and they fit great. I believe a 10" would have fit more comfortably but it has not fazed her. It did take my husband and I about an hour to assemble but if you are able to follow picture directions you will be good to go. Great quality and I love the detail in all the furniture. Very pleased with this house and love the size :) I selected difficult to store only because if you have smaller rooms this is on the larger side and not very easy to "store".
