Bought this for my girls for Christmas, almost 4 and 2 years old. I have been researching to find the perfect dollhouse for them for almost two years. I really was leaning towards the Cherry Hill Dollhouse by KidKraft, but was never quite happy with the color scheme. I really liked the open layout that would allow multiple children to play together. So when I found the same dollhouse but in the pastel colors I was overjoyed and bought it right away.
Just got it in the mail, so fast by the way, thanks. And wanted to put it together in case I had to work out any kinks. Everything came packaged very well and did not get damaged in shipping even though the outside box was a bit scuffed up. I did the assembly by myself and it took me about two hours. But I really took my time checking each piece and such.
One tip: I tried to use our automatic screw driver for the first screw in, and it was too powerful and stripped the delicate wood. After that I used a hand held screwdriver and it worked beautiful, just took more muscle power. The structure has pieces that just slide together and parts that take screws, because of this there is a tiny bit of give when you lift the dollhouse up to move it. But not enough to be concerned. But I will definitely make sure my kids don't climb on it or put their weight on it. Overall the dollhouse and furniture is very sturdy. And I think come Christmas morning they are going to be very happy.

I was so excited to purchase this for my 4 and 2 year old daughters for Christmas. My husband put it together very quickly. I love all the furniture and its quality is top notch. But the house itself is not as study as I'd hoped and the laminate on the walls and roof don't look like they'll withstand heavy use. In some areas they are already slightly peeling. I think I'll try to mod podge the edges to reinforce them. I'm happy with the furniture and the floor plan of the house. I know my girls will love it so I am keeping it, but had I seen it in stores I don't think I would've paid so much for it.

I am reviewing quite posssibly the best gift I have ever purchased. I am a mother of four as well as a rather indulgent grandma of six (so far) and in all my years of buying toys ie. presents for kids...this is the one I am most excited about. The swivel is what sold me but the furniture is the clincher. If you are considering this dollhouse, stop considering and get your checkbook ready!
P.S. my husband put it together in less than 30 minutes!

We were able to purchase this Dollhouse on sale and it comes with nearly everything (except the dolls). We bought it for our 4, turning 5 yr-old and know she will love it (as my husband and I already do and have played with it briefly). It is simple to put together, but you will need another person to help hold it as you put it together. Great buy! Packaged well for shipping too. Will wait to rate "can withstand use" until my daughter plays with it.

We are very pleased with this purchase. It was less than a week before Christmas and with just a bit of extra shipping charge, it was delivered very quickly via FedEx.
Easy to assemble --my husband assembled it on Christmas Eve after kids went to bed and it only took 40 minutes or so.
The house has fun little details. Good furniture and nice colors.
We got little wooden dolls to go with the house but my girl likes to play with other little toys she already had like Calico Critters as she is big on playing with animal toys. She loves the house and we hope she keeps enjoying it for a long time.

I really love this dollhouse, I bought it for my 2 year old and I had been thinking for a while that I would buy one and put it on a lazy Susan, and this one came with it. My daughter loves the colors and the big rooms and open walls make it easy to reach in and play with it. It comes with a lot of furniture and is really great, sturdy and seemingly durable (we just got it). The only problem that I have with it is that the front door is on the side, and that the parlor is supposed to be on the second floor--I think it would be better if one of the rooms on the bottom level was bigger for a parlor on the first floor, and maybe the kid's room separated to put the bathroom upstairs. I bought a family with grandparents and had to rearrange things to make the parlor into their bedroom. The pictures on the walls are better quality than I thought they would be as well, I was concerned about them being stickers, but they are very good quality and I am impressed.

I purchased this for my 3 yr old granddaughter. She was thrilled to get it. Love the quality, took about 30 minutes to put together. The colors and all of the furniture is very cute and the swivel feature with 360 degree access is a big plus. My only negative is I didn't realize there is no staircase or inside access to the second level. Kids like to pretend climb stairs with the figures. I discovered this when all of the kids (5, ages 1.5 to 5 yrs)preferred playing with the Deluxe Fire Station I also purchased for the twin grandson. She likes her dollhouse, but I think it would have been even better with a staircase of some kind.
