I bought this for my preschool grandson as a gift to him...I think he will love it as he has recently been asking questions about where certain places are located...I'll be able to tell you more later, but for now, it certainly passes the grandpa and grandma satisfactory approval test...........

should of come fully assembled : found placing the light, after getting it out of the globe , troublesome ! yet the globe's boundaries for youngsters and the illuminations, overall , are great.

I purchased this globe for my niece. She is 7 years old and her parents are going on a trip to Alaska. She will be staying with me while they are gone and I thought it would be a great way to show her where they are when they call in from their trip. She loves it and it has helped her to visualize where they are going.
