I love this food group set. I purchased a play kitchen for my daughter. and no pots pans or food arrived with it. so I had to find my own, and this play food is ideal for her little pots, pans and kitchen set.the only problem is that it is made of wood so when my tot throws it I have to take cover.but with that said it's a wonderful buy.

This is for my two-and-a-half year old daughter. As with all our past experiences with Melissa and Doug products, this is a great toy. Vibrant colors, carefully crafted of wood. The mixture of food items is perfect for her play kitchen.

It's been fun for imagination play in the kitchen. Grand daughter 2 1/2 knew exactly what each item represented. Good quality but paint transfers from one item to the other.

A great product, but my 2 yr old wasn't quite ready for wood toys. It's a little too much when he throws them, which he's apt to do since the orange, lemon, garlic and tomato look like colorful balls!
