My 3-year old granddaughter dropped it off her play table -- and the toaster broke. It only fell about 20 inches to the floor, maybe less. The mechanism inside would no longer pop up the toast, so she was no longer interested in playing with it. It's still on the shelf taking up space. I hate to throw it out because it was sort of expensive. But it serves no purpose other than taking up space. Good-looking, though. Just not sturdy enough for kids.
