As a strong advocate of protecting the environment, Wonderworld insists on using only rubber-wood that is a replenishable source that's widely accepted throughout the world as an environmentally-friendly material. Rubber-wood is a by-product from the culling of rubber trees in excess of 25 years of age that can no longer produce latex for commercial application and need to be replanted. This means, not only is deforestation avoided, but every part of the tree is used to its fullest. Wonderworld strictly adheres to their policy of only non-toxic colors and lacquers on their toys. Wonderworld uses only water-based wood paint for their wooden toys. This minimizes child exposure to chemicals, use of underground fossil fuel, CO2 emission, and chemical waste released into the environment.

I purchased this for my three year old daughter. She really enjoys it, as does my four year old. It was easy to assemble and seems durable (we've only had it for a month, and so far, everything works great). The girls like how the knobs move and make noise. My one issue is that the shelves on the side, as well as in the blue door don't allow to put a ton of food on them as if they do, then the door doesn't close all the way. To design it, I would make it just a few inches taller to allow for larger shelves. However, the girls have never seemed to mind or notice. The girls have really enjoyed this kitchen. What I do like is the wood, color scheme, and smaller size. We have a smaller house, and it is not a massive plastic thing in the living room.

What a great kitchen! Compact, appropriate in size, and silent! No buzzers or music, thankfully, which allows for imagination. Wood design is durable. My grandson loves, loves, loves it.

Everyone loves this kitchen! I love the design, the size, and the fact that it's made of wood, not cardboard or chipboard. Both my 2 1/2 year old petite daughter, and my 4 and 6 year old sons are having lots of fun. Many of the wooden kitchens are both expensive and too big - this is perfect and our kids love it. This is attractive enough for our family room which is a more prominent room in the house. Our kids love the realistic knobs and stove/refrig! They have made us many meals in the last few wks since the holiday. I appreciate that it is made from recycled materials.

Nice and compact for small spaces. Design allows for creativity and imagination. Nice unisex colors, I bought it for my daughter but her boy friends like to play with it too! My daughter is two and she absolutely loves it -- keeps her entertained and playing for long periods of time!
