Did extensive research. Bought it 4 days ago. Horse make different sounds depending on what ear you press. The sounds sound kind of mechanical but I guess thAt's the way it is. Assembled within 7 minutes. Needs a smaller screw driver for battery compartment located under the horse in belly covered with velcro horse fabric. The tale and mouth move great. My 17 month old fits on it just greAT. Older kids might be too big for this horse as it is not that big. Overall great price for a desent horse.

I'm sadly going to have to return this product. It is so loud that my daughter won't ride it. It makes my rings hurt as well. We looked everywhere for a "pony with stirrups" and we are bummed we will have to return it and keep looking. Makes cute horse sounds and gallop sounds. Head and tail move. If it weren't for an extremely loud volume, it would have been a perfect gift.

We bought this for our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter for Christmas and she absolutely loved it! The sounds did not scare her as mentioned in other reviews--in fact she loved them. It is a very cute item and perfect for a 2 year old.

I can't wait until Christmas Eve. He is a present for my g-grandson and I can't wait until he sees him. I do think I like the darker rockers.
