I bought this for my 20 mo old girl after reading good reviews and generally liking the look of it better than some others. Also I like that it ony has horse sounds; I don't like the ones that have human voices.Well, it arrived, and all I can say is I don't understand how it's gotten so many good reviews. Maybe my expectations were too high. My daughter does like it, which is the most important thing, but she would have liked almost any.This thing is incredibly poorly constructed.[...] The body feels like it's a wire frame, wooden block for the seat, covered in "stuffed animal". The bridle was held on by two stitches. Worst of all, the saddle is a complete joke. The strap that holds it on is fastened with velcro and is not very secure. The strap that goes around the tail and across the chest... well... those attach to nothing. They are short cut pieces stitched to the body in a couple places just for show. They do not attach to the saddle, and do not hold the saddle in place. With the saddle off they are still there, leaving a bunch of cut ends right where the child sits. The mane and tail are horrible synthetic material that falls out easily. The platforms on the rockers are held on by two screws in line with each other and it feels like the platforms will work loose quickly. The measurement is actually 29" for the rockers, not 30" as stated in the description. The height is 25", width 12". It's OK, maybe even good for a child's toy, but definitely not heirloom quality. On a positive note, I will say that it does have a sleeker look which is better than some of the others I've seen, and I have not had a chance to inspect any other rocking horses up close, so I can't say it's any worse. I suspect most others have the same poor quality materials, design and construction. If my daughter could review it, she'd probably give it a good grade -- she's riding it right now!

Children love it and I'm glad to see them happy. It is very comfortable rocking horse, looks more real than other, very nice design. My 2 years old daughter and 6 years old son love it. It is comfortable to use for both of them.

Sadly when my Grandson open this on Christmas Day there was a large crack in the wooden support. We were able to return it easily and reorder a new one that came within a week. Both my 3 yr old grand daughter and my 21 month old grand son loved the horse!

Too small of a horse for 3-6 year olds as advertised.
This rocking horse can easily be rocked too far and horse falls over. My 19-month-old grandson loved rocking on it, but would get carried away and rock too far and tip over. My 5-year-old granddaughter could not even begin to rock on it because the horse is too short in height. The rocking bars need to be longer.
