We bought this after reading reviews four years ago for my grandson who was two at the time. He LOVED it right out of the box. His legs were so short we had to attach a pillow to scoot him up so his legs would reach the pedals. Now, at age 6 this is still his favorite riding toy (and he won't give up the pillow!) I'll bet he has ridden this thing a couple hundred miles. This was definitely the best bang for the buck of ANYTHING we have ever bought him. We just bought his 2 year old sister the pink one because he won't share! Your kid will love this - definitely for outside or large basement (to allow room to do the 360 skids!!)

Even though my granddaughter is older and can ride a two wheeler, she loves the versatility her Big Wheel gives her. She was still using a Little Wheel when we realized she had really outgrown it. The Big wheel is Perfect both for small and older children
