What We Like About the Red Bird Retro Tricycle
Incredibly durable and made to stand the test of time, this tricycle will wow the kids with the bike's attention to detail and keep parents happy with the attention to safety. For long lasting durability, the frame, wheels and peddles of this tricycle are crafted in top grade steel while the tires are solid rubber for a smooth ride. The solid retro-styled bicycle even has a little whimsy; there's a working headlight seated in the middle of the adjustable handlebars (requires 2 AA batteries, not included). The Red Bird Retro Tricycle, with its high standard of quality, is a remembrance of yesteryear with all the modern conveniences. Recommended for ages 3 to 5 years.
About Morgan Cycle
Morgan Cycle has rejected the current trend to produce cheap, disposable plastic products in order to offer discerning parents classic, finely crafted ride-on toys that will last for generations and transcend fads. Based in Union, N.J., Morgan Cycle was founded by bicycle engineer Sylvester Yen, who drew on more than two decades of experience to design the company's line of quality retro toys. Morgan Cycle's first product was the streamlined, elegant Morgan tricycle, which was inspired by the original 1936 design of Harold Van Doren, a pioneering designer in the American Industrial Age who favored "simple solidity" in his style. Morgan Cycle has continued to expand its product line to include a variety of cars, scooters, bikes, sleighs, gas pumps and more, all characterized by beauty, safety, and quality craftsmanship.

Comments about Morgan Cycle Red Bird Retro Tricycle:
I was attracted to the classic design and bright red color. It looked as nice in person as it does in the picture. The quality was pretty solid as well.
However, the tricycle was tall and narrow which made it very tipsy. My daughter rode it in the house, and it was OK. But when I took it to the park for her to ride, even at moderate speed she would tip immediately if she turned. I had to be right next to her at all times to make sure she didn't fall over. The steering turned all the way around which didn't help stability. It's too bad it's unsafe. It looks real nice.
