Very stiff...my 2/12 grandaughter would not sit in it. I weigh 140 and tried to break it in by sitting and/or rolling on it but still too stiff.
We tried to remove some of the stuffing but since there were thousands of pearl size styrofoam pieces that became too great an ordeal. Actually thinking of sending back but do not want to have to pay for the shipping. Maybe she will like it as time goes on and I will continue to try to soften it up.

I bought this for my 2 year old son to use in his play room. He uses it all day long. Whether he uses it to sit on,dive off of, jump on or just lean back on while watching his favorite cartoon he loves this bean bag chair. And I love it because it takes all that he dishes out and it still looks great. And when his ice pop melts all over it or his juice splills it cleans up so easily.

I ordered these for my two grandchildren, ages 4 & 6, for Christmas. They LOVE them. I was concerned because I was unfamiliar with the new, alternative stuffing material, but it's just fine. One unexpected plus is that it's extremely light-weight, so the kids can so easily move them around by themselves. Add bright, very pretty, clear colors, shiny wipe-clean vinyl and you have extremely appealing, kid-friendly personal seating, with lots of playvalue as well. They enjoy them far more that I'd ever have imagined.
