I ordered these chairs to go with the activity table- the longer one with a paper role. All the chairs fit at the table and the set as a whole is amazing. My children cannot get enough of it! They want to eat at the table as well as play and create. I wish I hadn't put it off so long. The chairs and table are very sturdy. I couldn't be more pleased.

We ordered two pairs of the playtime chairs along with the play table. The solid wood construction should prove to be durable, and the espresso finish is attractive. Two of the chairs wobbled - the back "frame" seemed to be warped and slightly twisted - and tweaking the bolts and screws couldn't compensate enough. Hayneedle replaced them with another set that had basically the same issue but to a lesser extent. Sanding down the bottom of one leg should fix the issue, but not every buyer may want to go through that trouble. A felt pad stuck to the bottom of the "short" leg also works. Overall, very nice quality, attractive chairs with solid construction that should last.

When assembling, the dowel rods were too small for the holes, making them almost useless. The holes drilled in the legs to support the chair were incorrect and my husband had to replane some pieces. You need to check out the mfg of these pieces and correct these problems.
