Our grandchildren, ages 5 and 3, love this new table and chairs. Assembly was simple. My husband, grandson (?!) and I put the whole set together in about an hour. We discovered one of the chairs had a flaw in the seat. A quick phone call resulted in a new chair seat being mailed.
I considered much higher priced sets and am happy that I chose this one. Don't think you can get much better for your $. Only buy the high priced set if you need to quote high priced store names to your friends. This set is great.
The jury is still out on how the dark espresso finish wears. Looks beautiful now (matches other furniture perfectly). Hoping that it doesn't show scratches, etc. I will give this set 5 stars if it looks the same in one year!

I bought two of these chairs to go with another brand table/chair set that had only 2 chairs. Matches nicely. The KidCraft brand is superior to the table/chair set that I own. Espresso color is truly dark and matches the other furniture I have of that color. Love it!
