Rubberwood is often the most misunderstood species of wood in the furniture industry. The name itself invokes a variety of misconceptions to its features and its durability. Also known as "white teak" or Para wood in Thailand, is the common name for the timber of Hevea brasiliensis. It is also often referred to as Malaysian Oak because of its strength. Historically, the felled timber was used as firewood to fuel brick-making and tobacco-curing. Dramatic changes in world economy plus the occurrence of natural disasters in some parts of the world necessitated the need for alternative timbers.

i bought these for the visit of my three-year-old twin grandsons. What a great item! They are sturdy--no danger of tipping over because of the leg design. My neighbor's daughters, eight and five. love them too. Every home with little visitors should have a pair of chairs just for them. And the farmhouse design delights them.

Use it for my grandchildren. We had a table for them to play games etc. needed taller chairs than toddler. these work perfect.

I purchased these chairs to go with the Little Farm House Table and Chairs set that we had purchased for our granddaughter. We wanted her to have all four chairs so she could have friends and cousins join her at her little table. I was not disappointed with the purchase of these chairs. They are very sturdy and quite colorful.
My granddaughter loved them. She is two and will be able to use them for a long time. She loved the bright colors and the farm animals. Since she has cousins that come over to play that are boys, the table is great. Not too girly. It's wonderful for both boys and girls. They were easy to assemble too. This set is really adorable. I am very happy with my purchase.
