Nice, but small & difficult to recline

I bought this chair for my daughter who will turn 8 at the end of the month. She was very excited to learn that it would recline. Unfortunately, as other reviewers have noted it is extremely difficult for her to recline the chair on her own. In fact, she has to get out of the chair, lift the part where her feet rest and then carefully climb back into the chair. The chair needs a handle on the side so that children can easily recline it.

Secondly, the ad copy states that it has up to a 90 lb. weight capacity and is great for 3-9 year olds. At nearly 8 and NOT large for her age (she weighs less than 50 lbs. and tends to be on the small side compared to her classmates) this chair is really just too small for her. The quality of the chair is fantastic, but I'm disappointed that it is too small and thus for the money the chair really won't be useful to us for very long. If there was another option available I would have returned the chair for something that wouldn't be outgrown so quickly.

The quality of the chair is very good. I would recommend this product to someone with smaller children as long as parents realize the child is not going to be able to recline the chair without help. The retailer should go back to the manufacturer and have them redesign the recliner to include a handle for reclining.
