This recliner has a safe recline mechanism -- no more pinched fingers! Your child will need to pull out the footrest before he can recline, keeping his fingers out of the way during opening and closing. When the chair is in the recline position, the space between the seat and footrest has a sewn-in strip of fabric covering it. A recessed plastic cupholder in the right armrest gives your child easy access to a favorite drink, and the polyester fiber fill provides soft cushioning. The recliner's back has a single horizontal tufted stitch in the midsection, and is overstuffed to give it a rounded appearance -- just like Dad's favorite recliner.
