Guidecraft was founded in 1964 in a small woodshop, producing 10 items. Today, Guidecraft's line includes over 160 educational toys and furnishings. The company's size has changed, but their mission remains the same; stay true to the tradition of smart, beautifully crafted wood products, which allow children's minds and imaginations room to truly wonder and grow.

Upon opening the carton that contained the chair, I was very disappointed to find that the workmanship was very poor. Each part had at least one major flaw. For example: cracks in leg, missing parts of decorations on both the seat and back of the chair, large glue smears again on both the seat and back of the chair, splintered, unfinished bare wood, streaks of different colored paints on legs and arms of chair.

I bought this Rocking Chair for my Grand Daughters 1st Birthday. I loved the bright colors and the Butterflies that are painted on it, because that is the theme in her bedroom. My Grand Daughter just loves it and rocks in it everyday!!

A perfect 1st Birthday Gift to granddaughter. The colors are bright and the characters are cheery. She not only likes to sit in chair and 'practice' rocking but likes to touch the colors and characters. A rocking chair just her size!!!

This little rocker is beautiful. Bought it for our precious granddaughter and am so pleased with it! Sturdy as well as beautiful. Also bought the table and chairs that match. Cost a little more but definitely worth it.

We bought this chair for my daughter's first birthday to match the toy chest she received as a gift. I was surprised at the high quality of the chair. It was very easy to assemble - even my 4 1/2 year old helped put it together! The design is just beautiful. My daughter can grow into this chair and I truly believe it will last for many years.
