In search of the perfect homeschool table that my kids wouldn't outgrow in a year, I stumbled onto this table. It is the best set I found out there at an affordable price. The only thing I would change is to make it a little bigger but it works well if I put one of my children on one of the long sides and the other on one of the short sides. I am using it for my 2 children while we homeschool. I wanted a table that would be durable and wouldn't be too high for my 5 year old or too low for my 8 year old. The chairs and table are a great height so they can use them for years to come and they are even durable enough for me to sit in. I even tested it with my 12 year old neice and it works well for her too. I just pull up one of my kitchen chairs and sit alongside my kids and I don't have to lean too far over when I am instructing them. Assembly was a breeze. My 8 year old helped me put it together. The cubbies are an added bonus. The kids keep some of their schoolwork in them that they will be using for several days at a time. My youngest uses the table when she is coloring or having tea parties too. It is just perfect and matches our home decor wonderfully.

I was given this table and chair set as a gift for my 18 month old daughter as a set for her to grow into. The design is attractive and I like the nuetral "natural" color. The cons are somewhat annoying. The finish on the top of the table looks like it has flaws but the table top finish is completely smooth so you don't feel the imperfections. The biggest annoyance was assembly. It took my husband over 1.5 hours to put this together. The problem arose when one of the long screws for the leg-to-table assembly did not fit in the pre-scwered hole correctly because the threads on the screw were bad. The screw went in only part of the way and it took him 45 minutes to figure out how to get it out. He had to damage one of the legs and go to [...] and buy a different screw that actually worked. You are "screwed" at that point because its not like you are going to package this whole set back up and pay for return shipping. So now we have a useful table that looks nice but one of the legs is badly damaged on the outside for all to see.

The product is a great product but the table screws did not go all the way into the table because they didn't drill the holes deep enough.

I bought the Natural finish table for my kids room and it looks so much nicer than expected for the price. I'm very pleased with the quality and finish. Perfect size for a 2 year old toddler too.

Delivery time could not be beat. The table was packed well. The table did has some flaws that I will have to cover with some stain. Also, it scratches very easily which I found suprising since it is a childrens table. One of the screws did not fit into the table so I will have to buy another one because I stripped it trying to get it to screw in. The color (cherry) is beautiful and my son totally loves the table. He has already filled up the cubby holes with new art supplies. I wish I would have went with a lighter color so the scratches would not show as much.

A: The coating is a polyerthene clear coat that is lead free. This is applied all over the set.
