I am a grandmother and ordered it for the grandchildren. I am very particular and spend my money wisely. I was mostly delighted with the modern shade of the colors and construction. However, the finish could have been improved (evened out) if someone had cared more in the construction side of it. Also, you must be very careful when you tighten the screws, if they are the least bit slanted they will splinter through the wood. So that part was our fault but we like the set so much we will deal with repairing it. I liked the set more than I thought I would, just wish they had been more careful to go over the finish a little bit more in a few areas to even it out. I do love the shelf underneath and the grand kids are proud to sit at it. Moderate weight adults can sit at it too. It was fairly easy to install with the enclosed wrench. It took my daughter & I about 45 minutes to assemble, even with the kids trying to be too helpful and neither of us are handy with tools. Bottom line, I still think it is the nicest children's table & chairs I have found (kind of classy)and sturdy built and I would buy it again since the kids had out grown their toddlers set. I believe they & us will enjoy it for many years.

This was shipped very quickly and I liked quality and colors. However, there was a big nick on the side of the table and a few chips on the chairs. The screws were sometimes easy and some times extremely difficult to screw in. We don't have a drill so table is now wobbly. I hope my son can fix that when the grandchildren get it on Christmas Eve.

This table was quite a bit more than I had intended to spend on a table for my almost 2yo son and 5 mo old daughter, but i was sold on the fact it was solid wood hoping it will last years with our two kids. it was delivered very quickly and put together like a breeze. there were no problems with either the hardware or the holes lining up as some have stated. hubby and i had it together within 30 min. our son saw the table and immediately ran to it and pulled out his chair, grinning ear to ear. weve only had it 2 days so can not attest to durability yet, however it seems very sturdy! love the colors of everything!

The size and ease of assembly of this set was perfect for a birthday gift. The children immediately adopted it as their work center and loved the personal storage locations.

Please do not waste your money!!! The table is cute but a poor design. The legs are not stable. In fact they are wobbly and no matter how we tried to modify to make it work, they were NOT stable. Now I have to pay $38.00 dollars to return the table. Just love giving money away!!!

My mum bought this set for my twin boys on their second birthday and they LOVE it (as do I). It was simple to put together and very sturdy. Good quality wood and the chairs are nice deep colors. Fits in with the rest of my furniture easily.

looks just like the picture. Table is heavy and sturdy. My only complain is that the finish is already scraping off a couple of the legs and stain stick does not work
