This replaced a table of similar dimensions(this table is one inch shorter and the chairs are also one inch shorter than what we had before). The previous chairs were constantly being tipped over and the table slid all over the floor--we put up with it for 1.5 years, and now I don't know why.
This table is fabulous. It is very reasonably priced. The chairs and table are sturdy, they have nice thick legs and it's a heavy enough product to resist moving all over with the slightest touch.
My 3 year old when asked said he liked the new table much better. I wondered if just an inch would make a difference in terms of the size, but it seems much more user friendly. That combined with being a good design. The chairs are easy to get in and out of.
We use the table for everything from snacks/meals for my son to arts and crafts projects. The only con I've found is that the table top doesn't seem to resist staining as much as our previous table did, as the finish while smooth, seems slightly grainy (as in wood grainy).
I had a hard time finding a smaller sized table and chairs, and would recommend this one. We got the green so as to be gender neutral. The green is not the most attractive green out there. It's kind of like a pistachio ice cream green. Wish it were a bit darker.

This table was a birthday present for my one year old niece. The color was a little too "mint" green but we painted it and it looked fine. The size is great. The seat is a little lower and she will grow into it nicely over the next few months. The problem was during the assembly one of the slats on the chair fell off. It looks like it was held in place with just a staple. We ended up gluing it back on. Now I am afraid it is not going to hold up well. I am concerned with sitting so much on the edge or trying to stand the slats are going to come off. We will see. The jury is still out on this one.

This product was exactly what I thought I was buying. A simple small, square table with two chairs, brightly colored and made of nice wood. Just a little big for our 15-month to grow into.
