I purchased this for my 1 year old grand daughter, I asked my daughter if she liked it and she asked me what it was. The description says some assembly required but from my daughter's comment it sounded like none of the parts were assembled. Now she will need to find someone to assemble. She is not mechanicly inclined.

My niece loves the rocking chair and uses it daily. The clock on the back is a great feature. When we went to put it together there were only picture instructions and nothing was written. The assembly was not hard but we had to figure certain things out due to the pictures not being identical to the pieces we got. The only thing that my niece doesn't like (she got scared at first) is the sudden stop of the rocking chair in the forward motion.
If I could make two suggestions for this chair it would be to have the back of the chair slant just a little since right now it is straight up and covers for the holes in the wood.
Definitely would recommend this product with the matching chest.

I bought this as a gift for my granddaughter who was turning 1. It is a very hight quality rocking chair. The pictures don't do justice! I think it would esily fit a 5 yr old so am excited that she wil be using it for several years to come! Just wish there were more accessory pieces!

What a beautiful piece of furniture...my husband put it together for me (it took minutes) and he said it was the most well made rocker he has ever seen. I can't tell you how pleased we were since we were giving it as a gift. After putting several books in the side slot, it made a lovely presentation, and it was the hit of the party. Thank you very, very much!!! Loved it!!!!
