We purchased this chair because it looked comfortable enough that our 2 year old son would actually use it. We also liked its looks - it goes well in our living room. Our 2 year old son loves his little chair! He uses the ottoman as separate makeshift seating almost as much as he uses the chair (easy for him to carry around). We always get comments from guests about how perfect the chair is for little ones (our "little" guests love to sit in this chair, too). I also like it because it's so easy to clean - just wipe with a damp cloth and - voila! - stain's gone. Joseph likes to put toys in the side pockets. The only negative - and it's almost too slight to mention - is that the side pockets are tight - have to watch that Joseph doesn't try to put too many toys or books in them. We plan on getting several years of use from this chair.

This chair is soft and cozy for our toddler, but the feet came unattached and there are no pre-drilled holes to screw them into. After purchasing a long enough drill bit, we ended up cutting an opening in the fabric on the bottom so the stuffing wouldn't get wrapped around the bit and melt onto it. Be prepared for a frustrating assembly that requires both problem solving and power tools.

The chair was the right size and the grand kids love it. It is very comfortable. The only con about it was the legs were not shipped with the chair. I called and the person I talked to couldn't have been more helpful. Legs came within three or four days, which was not a problem. We will shop Hayneedle for sure again.

I bought this chair for my son's second birthday. As soon as I took it out of the box, I knew it was good quality. He jumped right in and said, "ooohhhh!" The chair is adorable and looks just like an adult chair in a smaller size! So, it matches nicely in the living room. It is very sturdy but it's not too heavy. The fabric is very soft. The only con I had was that it had a lot of loose strings coming from places where the accent color was sewed on. One of the pockets had a loose string and the pocket is not completely sewed on. But, that is an easy fix with a sewing kit. Overall, this is the best chair out there. I looked at several others and they don't compare.
